Director of Advertising / Marketing Communications  

* A minimum of 7-10 years' experience in advertising, with at least five years' experience successfully handling client projects in a leadership position at one or more advertising firms;

* Must be experienced in creating strategic campaigns for social media, broadcast and traditional print media; Understands how social media works, monitored and is bought;

* Demonstrates leadership skills to direct graphic designers in executing a strategic vision that leads to great creative work;
 

* Develops and implements creative programs that produce superior results for clients and result in increased agency revenues. Monitors projects to ensure that deadlines and quality standards are met; highly effective at client reporting and measurement evaluation.

* Must have excellent interpersonal skills, writing ability and verbal/presentation skills;

* Must be a good negotiator regarding media buys;

* Must be experienced and successful in pursuing new clients;

* Must be a self-starter who embraces accountability and achieving specific agency and personal-development goals;

* Will demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to the position and the agency, being a positive role model and recognizing the importance of being a consummate team player.

Marketing Communications Account Executive 

Provide overall support to both offices through the following initiatives:

* Understands client business (and the industries in which it participates), provides appropriate and timely strategic public relations client counsel. Able to maintain ongoing client communications as appropriate and as directed by immediate supervisors.

* Develops and implements creative programs that produce superior results for clients and result in increased agency revenues. Monitors projects to ensure that deadlines and quality standards are met; highly effective at client reporting and measurement evaluation.

* Understands media needs and the appropriate channels + methodology for dissemination of information; creates and manages regional and national media databases. Manages ongoing news, editorial calendar tracking and research via the Internet and other monitoring services.

* Spearheads relationship-building with key media important to the client’s business; books interviews, media tours, develops pitch letters. Executes media relations strategies in support of national and statewide campaigns.

* Research new and existing markets for clients – including identification of appropriate reporters and publicity opportunities. Help collect and distribute appropriate press materials for these contacts.

* Helps draft public relations materials including strategy memos, press releases, pitch letters, and media alerts.

* Provide leadership for Account Coordinators and interns
 

* Proven written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to prioritize and work independently and as part of a bigger team

* Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of accounts and clients
