Scott Carpenter, President

EAS. Cleveland Clinic Foundation. GTE. The St. Joe Company. DeBartolo.  Florida Prepaid College Program.  Brands we all know and trust.  And brands that all have utilized the public relations counsel of Scott Carpenter.

Through a minscott carpenter webdset of people as partners, rather than clients, he has built a litany of successful public relations campaigns for these national accounts and emerging regional and state brands.  As such, he has recorded measurable differences in public opinion, transformed under-performing companies into recognized brand leaders and, along the way, accounted for millions of media impressions in the country's top newspapers, magazines and television stations.

The accolades for his effort, thinking and creativity in the field of public relations speak for themselves:

In January 2010, Public Relations Society of America, PRSA, the largest public relations association in the country, named him to its national judge's panel and selection committee for the industry’s most prestigious award, the Silver Anvil Award. He is the only counselor in Southwest Florida, and only one of 50 in the country, to serve in five consecutive years (2006-2010).

In January 2007, The Counselors Academy asked Carpenter to join their group of the "best and brightest minds in PR."  The Academy is a professional interest section of the Public Relations Society of America dedicated to providing principals and senior counselors of public relations firms with the resources to grow their firms and the counseling skills of their people.

In 2006, through his credentials and work at the Silver Anvils, he was asked to serve as a senior judge for PRSA’s Bronze Anvil Award.

PRWEEK named the Biolife national campaign, led by Carpenter, one of the top five health campaigns of 2005.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County presented him with its New Board Member of the Year Award for his year-long work in raising awareness of the Club, its mission and overall need to assist needy and at-risk children in Sarasota County.
